I have wanted to try Avalon for a long time, but when they offered it in a new shade of red, I knew I had to jump on this!
Avalon is a beautiful, stunning wig. The cap is super comfortable on my 22 1/2" circumference, the fibers are soft and silky. The lace front is impeccable and isn't itchy or rough. The curl pattern is gorgeous and very flattering to my features (round face).
I was dying to try one of the new Estetica reds, so I got Avalon in the Mandarin Rooted shade. OMG! That color is striking! It reminds me a great deal of Estetica color 30/28/26, but with a root (my fave Estetica color--I love me some reds!), and it's also reminiscent of my all-time favorite color across the brands: Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice.
Mandarin Rooted isn't too brassy or orangey. The rooting is done so beautifully; it isn't harsh or long whatsoever. And the coloring blends well with my eyebrows, which are a medium/dark brown.
However, I am finding Avalon quite a challenge. It is a serious face flopper, so am currently working with it to get that under control. I am going to try to move the part and see if that helps. I'm afraid to steam it or take scissors to it because the curl pattern is beautiful, and I don't want to do anything to disturb those at all.
Also, and this is no fault of the wig, the manufacturer, or anyone else: It is going to need some thinning for me to really wear it. I have a round face, but it's also a small face (think "lollipop" head or Charlie Brown, and you'll get the picture lol). So, for now, Avalon will have to be returned to her box until I can find a stylist willing to work on it. Unfortunately, where I live no stylist will work on a wig, and I don't have a wig store nearby where I could take it. So hopefully after we move, there might be one more readily available for me.
All in all, I still adore Avalon! She is gorgeous and Mandarin Rooted is a stunning color! So happy Estetica created some new reds. Just wish they'd add their new red lineup to my favorite, Jones! Come on Estetica, give Jones some new reds, please--it's time! I can't understand why they don't since I hear Jones is one of their most popular wigs.
But I digress...

This wig is GORGEOUS! Perfect shoulder length piece with beautiful curls. I feel so fab and sassy in this. I bought in both the vanilla macchiato and silversunR8. Love both colors. I ordered the same 2 colors in another style as well. This is a perfect year round piece. Because it's not too long, it is perfect for summer days. But the style is so easy, this is definitely a wear anywhere, anytime piece for me. There is a good amount of volume. But I love big hair, so this is a win for me. I agree that the cap size is large. Definitely the largest cap size of any brands I own. I highly recommend this style and both colors I ordered.

This was my first Estetica wig, and since I have a larger head I wasn’t sure how it would fit. But I didn’t need to worry! Avalon is beautiful, and I ordered her in R8/26H. It is a medium golden brown with medium gold blond highlights. It’s a little more hair than I am used to, but will serve me well for going out and special occasions. Easy to style.

This wig is my favorite winter style/color. I ordered in RH1488RT8. A perfect blond with roots and pale blond. Lots of hair on this piece and a beautiful wave pattern. This piece is a bit big for my head, but I made cap adjustments to fit my head. The hair fibers, like all Estetica wigs, are durable in that they do not break down easily and remain soft for a long time. I've gotten a lot of wear with this piece and just ordered a new one.

Avalon is so pretty...and the curl pattern is very close to my natural hair. I usually buy 4/6...but this time I thought I would try the 4/8 and it is beautiful with just a hint of lighter brown in it. It looks gorgeous in the natural sun light. My hubby says it is one of his favorites: style and color!

Avalon is my first wig from Estetica, but I'm sure it won't be my last. This wig is gorgeous! I purchased it in color RTH6-28, which is a really lovely auburn shade. The wig is very comfortable and there are so many ways I can accessorize it with clips and headbands. It looks fabulous. I love the style and especially because it has the "beachy waves" - the wig can look kind of messy and still look great. Now I want to find a version that is like this but a little shorter to be more of an every-day wig. This wig is for when I want to dress up and feel very feminine and beautiful. Love love love it!
