I had been looking at this wig, Brenna for quite a while and finally decided to purchase it. The color I wear is Marble Brown and this wig was Marble Brown LR. Not knowing what LR meant I called and was told that the root of the wig that is highlighted is longer. I was fine with that until I received it and the long root, was dark, unfortunately, way too dark for my fair complexation. I assumed that highlight meant it would be light color of marble brown, which would have been perfect.
It was also marked as final sale, but really didn't understand the reasoning for that.
Silly me took a chance, and bought it anyway.
I love the style, and the natural part, but I will never wear it. -
I was really excited to try Brenna by Rene of Paris since I had seen several reviews of her. I was looking for a straight up synthetic wig in the hope that it would last longer than some of the heat-friendly fibers. I also wanted a little darker color for Fall so I bought her in Moccachino.
I was pleasantly surprised by the color. There are actually some highlights that lighten it up a little. Unfortunately I did not like the wig cap, ear tabs or the sizing mechanism. The wig cap is much larger than other brands, and I had to take it in with the bra-strap style sizers considerably to even get close to fitting my petite-average size head. The bra-strap style sizers don't hold the size well, so I am constantly adjusting the size. The ear tabs come down far and don't lay flat against the head.
Because Brenna is a straight up synthetic wig, there isn't much (if any) permatease so I have found it difficult to style. The hair fibers are also not the quality of other brands.
