This is a great introduction to hair toppers.
It's perfect for early hair thinning or if you just want a little extra volume. I wasn't sure about it at first, but after viewing some videos, I worked with it a bit & added some waves & it looks great.
My sister couldn't tell I was wearing "faux" hair!
I gave the overall quality 4 stars only because I could see the front clip through the mono top. I was going to move it, but first tried a little scalp shadow on it from the outside & it camouflaged it. I will probably get another one in a slightly different shade, just to change things up. -
This is a great piece for those just wanting a small boost to their bio. Hair. I didnt match my color well- so that piece is important to get the best value. Call the friendly customer service dept. And they are really helpful!

This is a great top piece if you have fine hair and just need a boost - or if you need a little additional fullness. Very natural looking- good quality fiber!

I am over 50 and have been dealing with hormonal thinning hair - which I have always had super baby fine hair prior to this. These toppers are a life saver! They are light, so easy to apply and look very natural!

This is a beautiful, lightweight piece which adds just enough volume to thin fine hair. It looks completely natural and is easy to wear as it is super lightweight. I have only ordered the synthetic version, but it is very natural and beautiful looking.

Great for pulling my side hair back, which I do often. It gives me a better head shape -- volume on top and not at the sides. I generally can't feel it when wearing, but my scalp is sore where it clips into my hair after a few hours.
The hair fibers are heavier, probably a larger denier than my fine hair, so it hangs differently and doesn't blend that well. Pulling all of my hair back into a ponytail or jaw clip works pretty well to hide this.
I cut bangs/fringe into it and texturized the ends with thinning shears, which helps it blend better with my hair. I've worn this topper quite a bit and it really makes my hair/head look so much better. It's a good little workhorse if you don't need more coverage.

I love it now, besides giving me more hair and a better part, it makes my flat head look rounded and attractive. At first I didn't like it, but when I decided all was lost, I started to experiment. I tried to dye it with Rit Dyemore (for synthetics) a few times (brown, red, and yellow). Then I tried to remove the dye. This made it slightly warmer and darker and stained the base which makes it blend better. I added a Scar Away tape to the underside to look like skin. And I got bangs cut and the ends texturized. The cut was probably the most important change (Duh -- but hey, I'm new to toppers). Finally, I'm comfortable wearing it. It feels and looks natural and I'm beginning to feel happier wearing it than not. Best thing is I can pull my hair back or put it up with this on. I just ordered a second in an XL. Thanks to Jon Renau for a great design with good gray color choices (mine is 56/51 oyster), and thanks to Patti's Pearls for super fast shipping!

This is my first hair piece (other than wigs for chemo years ago). I had purchased the 12FS8 from another seller and returned it because the roots were very dark. I ordered the 12FS12 with the hope that the roots would be lighter. They are, but they are not as light as say a L’Oréal boxed color number would be. I’d say ithe roots are a very warm 7 in a boxed color. The blonde length 12 color is the shade my 8 base color is with a strong highlight. I can adjust my bio roots to match better, so no problem there. I have part and crown thinning and this takes care of both issues. I wore it for several hours without telling hubby and he said he’d never be able to tell! Ditto for a couple of guys at work. I can now do a decent ponytail or messy bun that I could not wear before. I can get dressed faster because I don’t have to cover my crown scalp with powders or sprays. Shipping was faster than expected. My order was back ordered due to high demand and I was told my order would be shipped on the 28th, but it actually arrived on the 28th. I got an email from an actual person asking if I wanted to try another color or wait on my order to ship, in case I was in a rush. I wasn’t, but I appreciated the top notch customer service from the company. I will definitely purchase again and Pattie’s helpful videos are the best!

I am new to wigs and hairpieces and am looking for options for days when I need to look on point without the ordeal of a "hair-do" This piece is perfect-it covers roots and dirty hair and looks natural. I learned a lot about color matching, mostly-RENT A COLOR SWATCH FROM PATTI'S. But even with me behind on the learning curve about matching, Patti's staff was awesome and flexible. My hairpieces seem so easy I think I may try a full wig next. Look what you've started Patti's!

This is my second topper by Jon Renau. I wanted a little something straighter than my first, Top Wave, and this fit the bill perfectly. Shaded Pralines and Cream is my color. My husband saw the piece when I first unpackaged it and told me that it was too dark. When I wore it several days later, he didn't have a clue and has told me that this is his favorite piece. I am still able to use my bio hair bangs to integrate into these pieces. Eventually though, I will have to have my stylist help put a fringe on them. I am beyond happy with these!

I bought 2 different colors and love them!! I had my stylist trim bangs to work with my own bangs. Due to thinning hair, I wear this everyday!!! For any woman that is suffering from thinning hair and you don't need a full wig, please try this!!!
