I have in the past bought the Editor’s Pick Elite, but never the Editor’s Pick. I’ve been crazy for the wig in Shaded Iced Pumpkin Spice. Sadly, no pumpkin in the Elite, so I bought the Editor’s Pick, pulled it out of the box and plopped it on my head. It looked terrible. I shook it out. Still terrible. I fluffed it. Still terrible. It wasn’t wavy and cute, mine was kind of stringy, flat and scraggly. Back in the box it went. I tried again. Nope, terrible. Back in the box. I ruminated. The color was perfect, but I looked totally not cute. After a day or so of feeling a little sorry for myself, I tried again. Nothing changed. Perfect color (this color is breathtaking), but I had scraggly ends and stringy waves. I hung it upside down over night. Nope.
Patti’s video to the rescue again! The poor little wig just needed a little oomph! It’s heat defiant and can be curled, so why not add some curl?!
Curling a heat defiant wig is NOT like curling bio hair. Please, please watch Patti’s video! I put a little curl here and a little curl there (mostly around my face). After the second curl, I was totally into it! I added a couple to the back on the underside to give it some lift. I smoothed out the ends. All in all, I spent about an hour, leaving most of the waves as they were, just adding some long and loose “banana-ish” curls.
I put it on my head. I peeked at it. Perfect!!! I looked adorable and the color was exactly right!! I’ve worn it every day ever since. (I’ve grown a little annoyingly vain about the whole experience, BTW!).

I love, love, love my Editor’s Pick. I bought her in Biscuit (not shaded) She went on right out of the box with just a good shaking. She is perfection! The curl patterns are very natural looking. The cap is comfortable to wear, I have no problem wearing this wig ALL day long. Which is a huge bonus! I receive compliments on my hair every time I wear her out!

This is a beautifully made, gorgeous wig with very realistic beachy wave type of curls. I ordered the "Shaded Biscuit" which is also a very nice color. Unfortunately, the length was a little too short for me, and didn't look as flattering on me personally, so I am going to exchange it. If you like beautiful curls, and are comfortable with a bob length, this may work well for you.

No one knew it was a wig!!! First time I have actually felt comfortable wearing a wig with confidence!!!! So light hairline is impeccable!!! A must !!

After much research, I finally decided to order Editor's Pick by Raquel Welch and I chose Shaded Cappuccino. I fell in love with the style and color as soon as I took it out of the box - and fell even more in love when I put it on!
I love the shorter bang and how the curls frame my face. She has the fabulous lace front, wig cap, and ear tabs that Raquel Welch is known for and just the right amount of permatease so you can style it as you like. The hair fibers are outstanding and so real. She is perfect for everyday wear and you can dress her up for a special occasion. I can see that Editor's Pick is going to be one of my all-time favorites!
After trying different brands, I have found that I love the quality of Raquel Welch and it's definitely worth it. You will love Editor's Pick! -
I purchased Editors Pick in the beautiful color pale golden honey.
I love the mono-filament top and temple to temple front lace. So natural looking. It is very versatile. It can be elegant or playful.
The cap is very comfortable and fits well. You can’t go wrong with Raquel Welch wigs. -
Editor's Pick is a beautiful wig and just exactly what I was looking for. This wig hits just above my shoulders which is the perfect length for me especially in the summer. It has just the right amount of curl which is more of a perfect beachy wave. I bought it in Shaded Biscuit which is totally out of my comfort zone (I'm a natural brunette) but I'm so glad that I did. I was worried that the color would look grey or platinum but it does not. It is just the lightest possible blonde without being platinum. It is not shiny at all. My husband says he likes this wig on me the best. The credit goes to Kelsey Smith for helping me with my color selection. The shaded biscuit showed up differently in every video I saw but Kelsey described it to me perfectly. Thank you Kelsey.

This wig is so beautiful and stunning ! I ordered it in the light blonde and it didn't disappointe me at all !! It has such a natural feel to it and the lace front has that natural look.

I ordered the Raquel Welch editors Pick in shaded biscuit RL19/23SS. I am a breast cancer survivor and have very little hair & this wig make me feel so beautiful! This is the most natural wig I have. It looks so good and real from the feel of the hair to the color and the curls are just beautiful..Just a light shake and I was ready to go. Love the memory cap and feels good on, I forget it's there. It has a little fringe that I like or you can wear it off the face. I would recommend this wig to any one looking for a natural look.I will be ordering more of this wig.Love It..Thanks Patti

I ordered this in RL14-22. Nice, light blond color with a touch of red. This wig looked great right out of the box. I love the memory cap, it is so comfortable. I especially love that this great wig does not fall in my face, it stays off the face which is my pet peeve. I highly recommend this wig. The curls are beautiful and the part easily can change from middle to either side. I waited and got this on their 30% off sale.
