I have never worn a wig, much less owned one. I had COVID this past spring and the stress of it on my body caused hair loss. As a 60+ year old, I was always blessed with thick, fine hair. My hair came out each time it was brushed or washed. I have no idea when or if it will return as before. I found a wigsbypattispearls.com video and was struck by the sweetness & compassion shown to those with hair loss. As luck would have it, my first purchase was perfect! Ready For Takeoff by Raquel Welch was a perfect fit. My intent was never to pretend this was my hair but only a few know it’s a wig - I’ve had many compliments on my new haircut! So, needless to say, Silver Mist suits my own hair shade to a T. This product is well made and comfortable. I will thoroughly enjoy wearing it.

This is my second ready for take off. I love it very much and would highly recommend it to anyone who like hand tied caps and heat friendly fibers.

I waited for several months for this wig. I love RW wigs and have a collection. Ready for Take Off, I found was too big, the layers too long and there was too much room in the crown. Usually Raquel wigs fit me to a “t.” I ordered the color RL-23SS Shaded Iced Latte Macchiato. Love the color! The wig is beautiful. It’s just too much for my head.

This wig was back-ordered so I had to wait. She is a beautiful soft piece with lots of movement. In Shaded Biscuit, it’s perfect for summer. I love it! Ready for Take Off has longer layers and nape than Advanced French but the cut is very similar. I found the cap very comfortable but larger than my other Raquel’s.

I bought this in iced pumpkin spice. I really like this wig! Looks very natural and it's comfortable too. I will buy another soon because it looks so natural!
