I am a huge fan of TressAllure. The fit is perfect and the I love most of their wig styles. I own quite a few and wanted to give Avery a try. The color is Sugar Brulee, and I own three other TressAllure wigs in this color. I tend to change up and wear this color and the Dark Auburn a bit more in the summer months when I am able to get a little color on my skin.
This is a long wig, and while I would love to wear longer wigs, I am just too old to pull it off any longer. So, sadly for me, I am going to return her. The wig cap is a perfect fit for my head, and it does not itch like so many other brands I have tried so I keep going to this brand.
You will have to work with this style a bit, but if you like longer wigs, I would give it a try. It is not the style for me, in my 20-30's yes, but not any longer. It is still a beautiful wig.

The style and color are just not for me.
Before I begin my review about the wig itself, I'd like to give a shout-out to Wigs By Patti's Pearls' wonderful customer service department. I reached out to customer service to inquire as to why my order was slightly delayed, Ginger answered me promptly and was super helpful! Thank you once again, Wigs By Patti's Pearls, for your amazing customer service, which is why I won't shop for wigs anywhere else!
As for my review of "Avery," I will begin with the positives:
The wig cap fits just fine on my average/large head (had to let out the adjustment straps as far as they'd go though). The hair fibers are silky and feel like real hair. The wig was packaged carefully and arrived in excellent shape. In addition, the price was super affordable.
Now, for the negatives:
I'm sorry to say the color I chose for "Avery" does not work for me. I ordered it in the color Sugar Brulee. While that color is absolutely rich and beautiful, it doesn't work with my skin tone. I don't blame anyone for the color not working for me--I was very curious to try Sugar Brulee because I thought it looked gorgeous. I am fairly new to my wig journey, so I like to try new things. Unfortunately, in this case, the color looks very 'Meh" on me.
I am not a fan of how "Avery" looks on me. The hair constantly falls in my face--that drives me crazy! I tried pinning it back with a barrette; I tried to train it away from my face. But no matter how much I worked with it; it just wasn't happening. Even my husband, whose opinion I value highly & trust implicitly, said the wig didn't flatter me at all with its color and style. You could hardly see my face--it was as if the wig was trying to "swallow" me! lol
I guess the most accurate way I can describe my experience with "Avery" is when you see a beautiful garment hanging in a store but after you try it on, you discover that it looked better on the hanger. Well, that's the most succinct way I can describe my feelings toward "Avery." Despite it being a beautiful wig out of the box, once it went on my head; it didn't flatter me in the slightest.
In conclusion, I am so sorry that I had to leave this mixed review, but "Avery" is definitely not the wig for me. However, I do appreciate the opportunity to have tried her. I will look for a cancer center in my area, and donate her there.
