I own two other Ryans in the color 1488RT8. A few months ago, I decided to own being 72 and tried a couple other pieces in this Chrome RT1B color. I struggled with my other two Ryans due to my head size being petite, so I made alterations to the pieces for them to fit better. After the alterations were made, they were great!
THIS RYAN: The lace is shorter across the head and front to back, so fits me much better. The lace is a bit coarser than the others; it isn't scratchy, though. The seam that attaches the cap to the lace is poorly sewn in a spot, but since I waited 6 months to get this color, I merely repaired it myself. The fit is great without altering, though I did adjust the tighteners. The color (Chrome RT1B) is gorgeous; it is more white vs silver as other styles in this color have been. I always trim the long side but still keep it slightly asymmetrical. I can wear it ALL DAY very comfortably! My very favorite wig is this style. It's not super fluffed out. It is also glasses friendly! -
Very happy with the smaller cap size..did not have to sew it.
This is the second run of this color. I hate getting those as they are always changed. They just cannot leave a good thing alone.

3. FAR MORE FLYAWAYS THAN I EVEN HAD WITH FIRST RYAN..USED SIMPLY STYLIN AND HAS NOT HELPED, SOAKED IN COLD Water..did not help.
4 the hair is cut MUCH SHORTER ON THE CROWN NEAR THE PART.. DO NOT LIKE THAT PERIOD. MAKES THE Right Side FLOP INTO EYES ODDLY. YES I HAVE STEAMED IT..STILL NOT LIKE IT WAS.
5. Hair on back near crown also much shorter..do not like that either
6. ppl who have seen me many times IN FIRST RYAN, NOTICE THIS AND ASK IF I GOT MY HAIR CUT...NOT SO MANY COMPLIMENTS ANYMORE.

I ordered the 1488RT8. It is a neutral- warm color. I like the weightless feeling on my head. It was a touch too long on the right side for me. I point trimmed about an inch from it, after a few days of wearing and considering the idea. To make it look better trimmed I also trimmed a touch into the back side of that section, so it was not such a drastic slant.
Mine was not as curled/ waved on that side as the one Pattie had on in her review. The cap is very large. I have a 21.4" circumference WITH a wig grip on, I have extra room even with the adjusters in as far as they will go. Gave this a 4 due to so many flyaways. I have ordered a very light silicone spray to spray in my hand to try to work onto unit to tame the flyaways. For me this is 'dress up' hair, not everyday hair...but maybe just me.
